Critical GitLab RCE Affects All Versions Since 2014
GitLab has patched a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability (CVE-2026-111044) that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute code on self-managed servers. This flaw impacts every version of GitLab dating back to 7.0, released in 2014. While an earlier patch on October 12 addressed newer versions, the latest fix is crucial for all installations, requiring administrators to update immediately to prevent exploitation.
