A proxyjacking campaign is actively hijacking D-Link and Ubiquiti devices across 34 countries to resell stolen bandwidth through a commercial residential proxy network. Attackers monetize victims’ internet connections without their knowledge. This highlights the persistent vulnerability of IoT and network edge devices, which are often targeted for their bandwidth and IP addresses.
