Public Exploits Released for Four Linux Kernel Flaws Enabling Local Root
A security researcher has publicly released working exploit code for four recently patched Linux kernel flaws. These vulnerabilities each allow a local user to gain root privileges on a machine. While kernel maintainers have fixed these issues, the public availability of exploits means that any systems running older, unpatched kernels are now at significant risk and should be updated immediately.
