A new malware family, ‘SharkLoader,’ has been discovered deploying Cobalt Strike Beacon in a campaign dubbed ‘StrikeShark.’ Kaspersky reports that this campaign has targeted diplomatic organizations in Indonesia and government entities in Taiwan. SharkLoader acts as a loader, facilitating the deployment of more advanced post-exploitation tools like Cobalt Strike on compromised systems.
