A novel Rust-based macOS implant and information stealer, dubbed ‘Gaslight,’ has been discovered. This malware embeds prompt injection payloads designed to confuse AI-assisted malware analysis tools, causing them to abort or refuse analysis. This deceptive behavior highlights an emerging trend of malware specifically crafted to evade AI-driven security solutions.
